2015 VMA Nominations

This morning, the nominations were announced for MTV’s annual Video Music Awards on Apple’s new streaming service, Beats1. Hosted this year by Miley Cyrus, we can only imagine what surprises the “Wrecking Ball” pop star has up her sleeve. It appears Taylor Swift is in the lead with nine nominations and Kendick Lamar trails behind with four as a solo artist and nine on featured appearances.

The VMAs are set to take place live onSunday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m.PM from the Microsoft Theater in L.A.
