Unsolved: The Murders of Biggie and Tupac is getting ready to drop there Director’s True Crime Series revisiting the events that lead up to to tragic deaths of two of Hip Hop iconic stars. The two leads of the series Marcc Rose ” Straight Out Of Compton” and new comer Wavyy Jonez will play Tupac Shakur in USA’s true crime series the network announce this past Monday.
This will be Jonez’ first acting role, Jonez just recently released his first mixtape R.E.D. D.O.P.E. Jonez was discovered during a nationwide open casting call for the part Rose previously portrayed Tupac in F. Gray Gray’s 2015 N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton.
The series, follows the two major police investigations into Tupac and Biggie’s murders. People v. O.J. Simpson director Anthony Hemingway will direct and executive produce alongside Mark Taylor. Based on the experiences of former LAPD detective Greg Kading. Theres also All Eyez on Me, starring Demetrius Shipp Jr releasing later this year.
